Once again you demonstrate beyond any doubt why you were voted Artist of the Month: your use (and understanding) of colour, texture, composition, atmosphere, all perfect. It's a somewhat discomforting image, but one can't help but keep looking at it, allowing its slow release of deep ambiguous emotion to seep into you. Remarkable Bev hugs :-)

The raven symbolizes death? The green room the hospital? I once had my little daughter in a hospital - you made me think of it again...
The many questions what time might bring, the sorrow...
In the image the mother wears black, does not look at the baby - it seems as if she looks into herself. The baby is surrounded by white light, does no longer appear completely, is fading.......
