Just another struggling artist with a passion for 3D computer graphics. I was first inspired by the works of Jean Giraud (a.k.a. Moebius) of "Heavy Metal" fame, hence the tribute in my online moniker. My 3D CGI tool of choice is LightWave, but I have recently started mucking about with digital photography. Other tools include Vue Infinite and DAZ|Studio. I also work in Photoshop and CorelDraw to cover the 2D graphics stuff.
I don't have too much patience for setting up final renders, because my interests lie in modeling. "Non-organic" modeling, or "hard surface" modeling, in the sci-fi genre to be specific. So the bulk of the images in my gallery are modeling WIP's and design studies, the rest are photos and a few quick sketches. I consider myself a hobbyist, because I am still at a level where my skills definitely need a lot more improvement.
I'm an architect by training, and work as Studio Manager for an architectural/interiors design office. I was born, raised and educated in the Philippines, but am currently based in Bangkok, Thailand where I live my wife, "Kanittha", our son "Nio" and our cat "Samuel".

Very interesting design. Reminds me a bit about the more practical designs of H.R.Giger. Im curious for the final version. :D

The cyber seat looks fantastic! It could have some arm rests, and some controls that lowers the seat up & down. Besides that, this is great stuff!

Looks way cool, especially the base

Thanks for all the encouragement, folks.
Good eyes, Eugenius... I still haven't modeled those bits, but thanks for reminding me, my friend. :o)

This is really very cool, Moe! I kinda like it floating. Not quite as floaty as it is currently, but if you created some bits from the chair and could texture a portion of those bits to make it look like the chair was connected the base through some sort of electrical/plasma field. Oh, my sorry for the run-on sentence there. I think that would be way cool, but perhaps I've just been playing too much Halo. Regardless this looks way cool even without final textures! Great work!

Nice work Moe, looks realy cool and I can already think of things to use it on. Seat looks ergonomical and the platform has a nice functional look to it.

So far so good; why not attach some wires/cables to the guy's body or head...:-)

Nothin wrong with floating, seems to me that might be the best simulation possible. Great work as always, and I love the fact that the poser figures comfort is a top priority.

I cant wait to get my hands on this one!,Stunning!!Modelling is unparalalled as usual. This would look great animated, all the moving parts,I wonder who or what he's controlling,(or is he just watchin daytime soaps)The modelling of the seat itself looks very comfortable, its a good idea modelling around the figure.Cheers Moe!

Good modelling.. can't wait to see it all fully textured up.

Very good. A barefoot man/android/alien? Well, it's a work in progress... The structure is good colored and the man/android/alien have good proportions. Warp 5 in 3... 2... 1...

Some over-hanging monitors would look cool
