Description

I've been working with real paint lately.... I'm painting the interior of my house :) I decided to take a break and make a picture before I get render withdrawls. Hope you like it :)

I would only comment that the glass in the windows doesn't look right to me. Everything else looks wonderful. :)

I'm so glad you got tired of painting walls in your house. We get the benefit with this lovely image.

That roof is really exceptional. I wonder who lives there, Hansel and Gretel? :-) Very cool.

Excellent work - the grass is amongst the best I've ever seen in a 3D render. I'd love to know how you did it!

Thanks everyone :) Each of the grass areas is a seperate mesh mapped planar from the top viewport. I then render it, I left the bottom of the well there so I could see where it would be. Render it big. I opened that in photoshop and cloned in some wildflowers over various layers of grass. Do that for each piece of grass mesh. Thats about it.

Wow! I'm impressed! Looking through your gallery, you do some of the best archetectural scenes I've ever seen. Great stuff.

Holy shit! Great job man. Some of the bushes seem a little blurry compared to the house, and there's no DOF that would do that, so I don't know why that is. Maybe you painted them afterwards or something? Kickass scen anyway man.

Are you sure you didn't sneak this "painting" in, while you were painting your house interior? :> The background looks like it was painted in oils, and that is impressive. Well done!

Great Modeling again, Sorry Mate but I think you need to pay attention to the lights and shadows again, it looks a little flat. Try some darker shadows.
