Description
This started as a test of Carrars HDRI lighting to see how it covered objects.
Just the HDRI and one bulb are used.

Looks cool. I like it.

good job

Good textures and models, the render looks great.. one thing tho, it seems to me its a bit unstructured. If you add more it will even more confusing to the eye. There is no central point focusing the intrest of the viewer. I would arrange the Mechs in a way that you have a perspective eg line them up on the left and right, render through the mid with the focus on a hangar door. This has the basic quality to become a killer image if arranged right.. keep it up !!!!!

Nice texturing and lighting on the mecs. I like Dj's comments about the line-up... but then it does sounds like this was an experiment with lighting so a more random setup may have suited what you wanted better. Good stuff either way :)

A few days? It must take half a day just to render! Nice image and good work. Not sure what it is but the textures are great.

Thanks for all the great comment!!! I think HDRI is a great addition to carrara. I needed to see how much of the HDRI light would hit an object and how much light would fall off of objects in the back ground for this test. Textures are from real world photos that I took of aircraft sides and the the "Ground<<". Render time for this image is a bit over an hour but that changes with light intensity and camera and HDRI<< position.

Bloody well done!
