Description

A few days took a week but changing my old models detail was getting to be too much fun. I started playing with Carrara-3

This is an excellent piece of work, amazing attention to detail. (like the rust stain on the door of that mobile maintenance cabinet thingy in the foreground)

This is so wonderfully detailed and realistic it looks more like a still from a movie than a render. Texturing is terrific. I've yet to figure out C3's UV mapper! And its not for want of trying:-( One thought though, HDRI is cool and technically advanced but I really miss shadows. To me they add a whole dimension to an image. Not to detract from this wonderful scene just a general observation.

Fantastic scene! You've done a wonderful job with the background and creating an overall sense of depth. If I were to add anything constrcutive I'd say a little more "set dressing" i.e. I remember a lot of forklft palletes w/parts on them as well as trash/papers blowing around our motor pool. Coffee cans painted red served as drip cans under leaky vehicles. Kitty litter soaking up oil spills. Brooms and dustpans, coke cans, oh yeah, and someone always seemed to be doing push-ups for some infraction. Awesome image, looking forward to more!

Wow! This is one most impressive render. And I have to agree with the above statement, it does appear to resemble a still from a sci-fi flick. I gotta buy myself a C3 upgrade one of these days.

Fantastic image, there is so much to discover in this image. Super job on all the textures they really make the image top notch. I like the P.U.G. that is in motion on the right. The way the toes are hanging down showing the weight and physics of motion.
