Wolf Dance
To the Menominee Wolf Clan
The wolf is shy, strong, and conning
The pack greats each other like long lost loves
The wolf dance in the moonlight together
The eagle flies high above to watch
Tonight I dance with the wolf
For we are family and my strength comes from them
When I dream they guide me to the den to play with the pups
While I am awake, the wolf guides me to safety
Tonight I will dance for the wolf
We will come back they say
We will run free in the woodlands again
Their howling will let us know our people will be strong again
Brothers and sisters join the wolf dance
