Smoke
You blended in to the shadows like smoke
You watched the world around you
You were brave when others ran
You played in my hair and some times fell asleep
Just like smoke you were here then hidden
Today you became smoke on the wind
You were loved by all who held you
You brought smile to all who watched you play
You will always be my Little Smoke
I will miss you sweet little kitten
May the Great Spirit hold you tight for me
Bye Smoke, I will miss and always love you

What a coincidence ... the first cat who ever lived with us [because nobody owns a cat!] was called Smokey. I was devastated when she reached her life's end ... so I can well appreciate this piece.
