Description

Meet RX. He's a bot that doesn't really do anything. This last model, RX-04, was just rolled off the assembly line. At first the model was used for all sorts of things from street cleaning to medical aid. However, improvements in technology and manufacture have unfortunately rendered the RX range obsolete. Nowadays a bot like this could be lucky to serve drinks in a cyber-pub. All modelling done in Wings3D by yours truly. Gven Presidential treatment in Bryce, sun as light, blurry shadows, etc. THE most complicated model I've done to date, some 60,000 faces (in wings). Should be around the freebie section soon, once I see if my bandwith can hold it. I am extremely happy with the way it came out. Took a full 2 days to think, model and render. Comments, criticisms, even ratings are welcome. Mihnea

Yeah, I'd like to have one of these bots too. Do they come in any other color besides white? Seriously though Drac, this is an excellent Wings model and a cool Bryce render.

Excellent modelling, but other colours would be welcome. This way they look like Lego a bit. Still, they are way cool.

They are wonderful! I remember reading about them in the "History of technology" (5th revised audition). I didn't know that you are THE DESIGNER of ground-braking RX-04. It must be hard to be a legend. Do you get recognised on the streets? I am designing my models as well, but mine never come out as elegant and cool. Congrats again!!! I would be honored to chat with you at some point, if we both happend to be traveling in the same time frame. Hugs, Master Serge. LOL
