Description
I did this as an entry for the contest at http://www.renderosity.com/contest.ez?contest_id=267
They've suggested a different iteration than this one, so I've posted this one here and the other one there. Hope you enjoy it.
The original for both is lost, but this captures the sadness and rejection of the season sometimes. Most fitting that the original entry was rejected as well.
So, here it is, reposted as re-edited.

Thanks. I've been through a lot with Christmas day, including two children taking sick on that day (http://adrr.com/living/ talks about my kids) and I feel the need for angels on it, not to mention a great deal of mystery about why things happen the way they do.

too bad the original are lost, but again your challengin way to compose pleases my darker side.

The other version is at http://www.renderosity.com/contest.ez?contest_id=267&ShowQuestion=8329 but I appreciate your comments. I like this one better than that one, though both capture things. Too bad the original without the text is lost, especially as they needed to remove the last line of the text (a link to a web site on grief and the three daughters I buried) and that leaves the print composition just a little off balance. Anyway, really appreciate your comments. I couldn't decide if I wanted the bright spot artifacts or not, but I've left them in and am glad you enjoyed it.

I was pondering the difference between true poverty and nihilism and how one is often mistaken for the other. Now comes this. I do like the mosaic.

You have created a wonderful mysteious mood. Love how you've left space for imagination... food for thoughts! Also I love the mosaic, light and colour tones. Amazing work!
