Description

With a nod and thanks in the direction of Brendan, who always amazes me with what he can do with Bryce and has inspired me in the past to keep working with it. This is a modest effort by me to achieve a painterly abstract style using only the Bryce materials lab and it's rendering engine. The only post work is some colour correction in Photoshop. Thanks for looking.

A great abstract Cam. I remember you like rusty metals (like me) and my thoughts go in this direction when I look at your image. Love the colors and forms, and the texture is beautiful. I have never used Bryce, so i can't judge it from that point of view.

Ancient statues falling into the past... Like always with magnificent pictures, I begin to tell stories...:-) Forms and lines are as beautiful as they could be done with vectors;-) They are beautiful! (I don't know either anything about Bryce...)

You know, I thought this was a wonderful painting and then I realized it was in Bryce, and was even more impressed as it is difficult to do stuff like that in Bryce (at least it was for me). Anyway, wonderfully done...very original...

I don't know what it gets to make Bryce work well, but I have always been fascinated by the results obtained with it. This certainly fits in the cathegory well :)
