Looks like one of Charlie Sheen's characters. The mountains bring out different forms. I am a collector of the "hunker."

Quite wonderful Cheryl the song in particular adds extra poignancy to your artwork. And for me having been to countries as part of an Aid team where children were dying from starvation it touches my heart..

Wow Cheryl... it looks like it must have taken FOREVER to get the clothing on this one! I love the facial expression, but for some reason I find myself completely intriqued by how you did the clothes. Brave sweetie, great drawing once again!!!

Seems like a year has gone by since I have visited your gallery and commented on your fine pencil works - then after thinking about it - Lo and Behold, it is a year, at least a new year as my last visit was in November of 2003...lol. The young boy reminds me of an old photo taken of an Apache boy, many of whom were certainly older in appearance than their literal years. Regardless of the subject matter Cheryl, you have definitely captured a most captivating portraiture. I love and appreciate the time and effort you have spent in the small details and the blanket/jacket is textured beautifully. I am also very impressed with the excellent border where it appears even as an optical illusion of being on top of the drawing (casting a shadow) until the bottom right-hand corner flips up to reveal your copyright information - gorgeous touch - excellent work young lady.
