I love the style the image is done in, and the lack of color makes your point even stronger

Once again you've captured the pointlessness of this war. Good work my friend

You are right. Further words are unnecessary. Well done.

Caputering the strong emotions again I see and I hardly like politics :-p. The black and white gives it a raw feeling (atleast in my opinion) adding to the emotion. I like your veiws on this and I can agree in many ways. Dangerous and provocitve work but beautiful. :-)

Your image is as powerful as it is tragic and so you have my compliments on your art. I noticed in viewing your gallery that you didn't have an image of those who suffered under Hussein's regime - those who were gassed and tortured by that twisted man. I found that interesting but not too surprising. It is tragic and terrible that there are insane despots who place no value on any life other than their own. It is tragic and terrible what they do. It is tragic and terrible that war is sometimes the only way to stop their reign of terror. And, we agree at least on one point, it is tragic and terrible that in all war some innocents will suffer. Let our prayers and thoughts be with them.

I believe this is the most powerful and most mature painting in your gallery. You've captured the image of a world of grays, a world of pain. Excellent work - keep it up - your style is in continuous perfectioning. :)

Your work evokes that famed photo of a nude/burned Vietnamese girl running from a napalm bombing... & is etched in our collective memories. She's still alive and well, in Canada I think. I pray the future for all war's victims be likewise hopeful. As a Vietnam Era Vet, your image reminds me NOT to forget my personal lifelong healing quest, as we are all wounded by war in some form, no matter when or where.

Wonderful painting of tragic events, unfornately war is ugly and hurts the innocent and scars them for a long time into their future. At least now there will be a future lived in freedom from tyranny. Excellent job here.

The fact that war still exists merely shows that we are not a very intelligent race just yet. We have many primal instincts that have to learn to control. And as much as we try to solve problems through diplomacy there's always an end to diplomacy. I'm not sure if humanity will ever let go of war. War is about power, war is about greed, war is about those who have and those who don't have it. Those who have won't let go of it and those who don't have want it. The image itself is done very good, good mood and the impressionistic style adds to the image.

As long as mankind has greed and hate in them, there will be war. As for me and my house, we will serve God and promote peace. This is a beautiful image and a needed reminder of why we should not be quick to fight. Thanks for sharing it.

Beautiful work, my friend.

Your intention to name the series Natural Disasters seems to be a misnomer though. I would hate to think that the tragedies and calamities caused by people on other people to be natural. A sad and inescable off shoot of humanity's foibles and failings, but entirely unnatural in my humble opinion. I look forward to the day that war will be a thing of the past, but I doubt that it will come in my lifetime. More power to your work! :o)

Even though I dread war, and I can't stand that it exists, I can't stand that before there was intervention there was torture and death of many many innocents and possibly many many more. Not possibly..there were going to be many many more, and that for the unfortunate caught in the malstrom, there will be much more happy alive and thriving faces delivered into the hopeful arms of freedom from a tyrant who stood in the ranks of other insane tyrants of the likes I cannot or refuse to name. War is horrible.. and our great thinkers only came up with that as a resolution. What a shame, but I'm not saying that it came from one country..war has been rampant around the globe for centuries.. it's time to settle down and figure out some new resolutions. Oh I'm sure among the thinkers of this world there's someone who won't need precise measurements for instruments of distruction.
