Description

Ultrafractal 3.02 and Apophysis'es 1 and 2b11 (rendered version coming... slowly lol) A perfect shelling morning on the beach on Sanibel Island - "nice" and windy with good size waves sure to kick up a few big ones! This is about as close as we get to a winter here in Florida! I wish you all a VERY happy and wonder-filled 2004 and thanks for stopping by - make sure to brush the sand off of your feet when you go back inside! :>) (btw - what IS the plural of Apophysis? lol)

Wowsers! The whole composition is breathtaking- but that sand and those waves knock me out. Let me grab my bermuda shorts and the geiger counter and let's go for a walk!

Fantastic, Rick, it may have been painted with a computer, but it's even more wonderful for that. I find myself holding my breath waiting for the waves to crash. You always take computer art to a new high.

Hi Rick - just looked at your gallery and seen this superb beach image of yours ( my computer crashed at the time you posted this , so missed it at that time ) - Anyway better late than never to say that this is a delightful image. I have always loved beaches and ocean waves. The waves are beautifully done with their foaming tops and as for the driftwood words fail me - suffice to say that the dark brown spirals are amazing and the lighter coloured mother-of - pearl inlay is delightful { rather like ' chinoiserie ' }. Good job I checked your gallery and stumbled across this magnificent image ! c-ya .. Mike
