I agree with Shari. Both are excellent work. Hard to choose which I like the best. Proably pick the color image because the great textures can be seen better. :o)

I really enjoyed the old photo. This version is equally appealing. My only criticism would be that the water in Venice is unfortunately filthy. You have cleanied it up nicely for them!

Wow! I just love the detail you've put into this, the top of the wall, the deteriorating bricks, the humid looking textures are awesome and I just love your fun touch with the hanging laundry so omnipresent in Italy! Excellent job! I know it's late but you have my vote for this one.

I love the composition of this image. The way the light spills over the top of the right hand wall is fantastic. A very beautiful, "old world" picture.
