Description

"The victim was discovered on a sub level just above the auxilliary exhaust port. Most of the environment suit was torn away and no trace of his helmet, nor his sidearm, could be found. Over 90% of the victim's skin had been eaten away. Not burned or stripped off... but dissolved, like it had been eaten away. They would know more once the scanners in the medical bay completed the autopsy." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - This set was modeled and rendered in LightWave 3D. Modeling on this environment is about 20% done, but I thought I'd put this up to get more ideas and suggestions. There's going to be a lot of overhead equipment, and several consoles and monitors all over the place. The slab is on a pivot arm that can also tuck away into some kind of compartment. This is intended to be a medical lab, so I don't think I want to put any shackles or restraints here. I needed a body to check for scale so I imported the P4 Male and gave him a custom texture

It's stunning, Moe. The clinical coldness could (in the wrong hands) make it very sinister. Or it could just be a med bay.

Wow! This get's better everyday..The new overhead light is very nice. You have such a fine understanding of sci-fi enviroments..and dont worry about "grunging it up" I can handle that,lol..Though I am thinking maybe a cleaner more sterile texture set could be used aswell, and as I'll be turning it into a Poser character I can make MAT poses for the texture changes..looking forward to the next update

Hmmm....... this reminds me of Alien. That one swung into the wall I think. That may be something to think about. I love the look of your models. So professional.

I think you've just about got what you need to finish this one up. I was going to mention adding an overhead display consoles or something for the "doctor" to view the scans...but then I realized you already said you were going to do that. What's nice is you could have a sinister looking or sterile type of environment with a simple change of texture.
