In the constellation Scorpius,Antares is the 15th brightest star in the sky. Antares name is from the ancient Greeks. It means Anti-Ares. Ares means the Greek god of War who is also called Mars by the Romans. Antares is linked to the planet Mars because they are both about the same color and the same brightness, so it is easy to get them confused.Thank you for viewing and comments :)

Wow!! My favorite in the series so far. (THIS doesn't look like Alaska..Toto! lol) I love it. I think I like the deep sky...looks like a different oxygen content. Terrific, really.
