Description

I caught this "Brocken Spectre" high on Bidean nam Bian overlooking Glen Coe a few years ago. I remember the amazing feeling of witnessing this type of phenomena for the first time. It was totally unexpected and felt like a religous experience that left us breathless in its intensity. I streched out my hand and touched the edge of the shadow that streamed into the centre of a target shape of consecutive rainbows. I counted at least five seperate rings. I now am more aware of when they are about to form and have seen it quite a few times now.

Stare at this long enough and the rings start to move! Or maybe that's just me...hmmm. I'm so glad I checked into your gallery as I may have missed this impressive impression! Thank you so much for sharing :)

I'd hear about those phenomenon but never see it. It is not a hazard that YOU see it ! You soul seem very involved in the backstage of reality.

Amazing, this glory! I observed it only once, but it didn't approach even this intensity.

This is the best brocken spectre/glory I've ever seen. Strange!
