The Wall
Longing For Love
The water upon your skin glistens
The spark in your eye's
The softness in your face
The tenderness in your voice
The longing you bring out in me
To me this is how I see your love for me
I want to pull you close
But this wall I have is too thick
I can see through but none can touch or hurt
Me behind it
I long for the loving touch you offer
Hoping you can reach me soon
For soon I will be dead inside

Touching poem, you break down a brick wall just one brick at a time. Hard work but I have hope for you!

There's a truth in the idea that one should play hard to get. If someone is willing to take the time to walk along that wall until a door is found, wait patiently until the door is opened and not run when the unforseen is found inside, then that bloom will last. If you've been hurt Does that wall have a door?
