Description

Mist The morning Dove wakes me to the misty morning I grab my cup of coffee and head to the porch I look to the pasture in front of me I look to the forest around the pasture Drinking my coffee I listen to the squirrels gathering food The birds singing to the sun to rise I fade to time long past In the morning mist I see a mother maiden getting water for the morning meal Looking towards the forest I see wigwams with smoke rising to the sky Sitting under an old Pine the elder is smoking from his pipe I see the young warriors feeding and watering the horses A car flying past startles me Taking a sip of my coffee I look across the pasture The sun rising above the forest the mist is disappearing My trip to a past long gone is over Back to the bustle of this time Goodnight mist By Dee Simpson AKA WhispersSoft 5-5-03

I would have like you to dwell more on your allusion to a simpler time recalled in a morning mist.It seemed a very short passing thought. I would relish these moment far more than for just a single sip.

Beautiful 'purple prose' giving a lovely pen picture of true communion with nature.
