This really is extraordinary detail. The range of colors, darks and lights is awesome. Easy to see why the total image is so fantastic, because this little section of the original carries so much drama by itself it could also make a fine work. Very excellent art. :o) CC

Wow, the detail is amazing. All the rivets and bumps in the bone really bring it out and his eternal grin is very powerful. Excellent work...

Uwe my friend, I am always blown away by your attention to detail. Although I'm not partial to the macabre, it doesn't subtract from the undeniable fact that no matter your choice of subject - you do an exquisite job - and I admire your versatility, something few artists cultivate. I often peruse your gallery and with jaw open, enjoy the visual feasts of all your works. I am in full agreement that posting close-up versions from your paintings is a wonderful invigorating experience for your many fans. It is the ONLY way that people can fully appreciate the amount of detail your paintings evoke. Love the touch of steam/smoke emanating from between his picket fence ;^)
