thanks all :-) -- hi lynn, this was completely done in painter, the finished as well as the scetch - i want to try to get a real painted look in painter - and i think the programm works well - cool to do a scetch digital and it look really like a normal pencil scetch - i am not already sure if i shall be happy with the possibilitys of the digital medium or if i should be scared - lol - thank you all so much

Oh gosh, Uwe, your detail is amazingly well done! I just love seeing every pencil stroke like this. I am flabergasted that you manage this in painter. It really looked drawn. Gorgeous!!!!

thanks again :-) to all, @ drmzrmyne -- i used for the whole picture the dry brush (dont know the correct englis name, as i have a german version of painter - but the brush is in the oilbrushes and there it is the soft dry brush) hope this helps :-?
