Description

"WITCH KING: Hinder me? Thou fool. No living man may hinder me! EOWYN: But no living man am I! You look upon a woman. Eowyn I am, Eomund's daughter. You stand between me and my lord and kin. Begone, if you be not deathless! For living or dark undead, I will smite you, if you touch him." - The Return of the King I have been thinking about recreating this scene from the Lord of the Rings for a long time, so here it is. All characters are mostly Daz Products, set up independently in Poser and imported in Vue d'Esprit for a first render. Grass, hair, grit and special effects were added in Painter. A touch of Photoshop was used for the final color adjustment. As usual, comments are most welcome.

This is wonderful to see and is what the hot20 should be about. My one suggestion is about the fell beast. It might be a little better if it had legs instead of arms. Awesome nonetheless.

Thanks for the overwhelming feedback ! I was not expecting it as I posted the picture after working too long on it to do over with parts of it I am not satisfied with. To answer Zodo - I did try with the legs instead of arms, but I found the creature more menacing and serpent-like this way.

OK... sigh First off, I love this pic.. awesome job. And I was going to let this go.. but it kept taunting me more and more every time i looked at it. The nazgul's have rear legs, not forelegs.. I know, I'm a freak for noticing that. But, nonetheless, fabulous image!!!
