Randi hugged her diminutive uncle tightly, crying, oh Mercer, what is this all about? Who called you uncle? He looked across the room at Officer Melroni and gestured with a flip of his head. He did, he really seemed to feel bad about having to arrest you. The man was just following orders. By the way sweetcheeks, I hired you a lawyer, seems you'll be needing one... She looked at her uncle quizzically. Why? What have I done? He began...well hon, where were you on the night Brent was murdered? Weren't you the last to see him? Oh Uncle! I was with him! We went to that new dance club Sharne's on Fifth! We argued even! Oh uncle it got real ugly! We were asked to leave! Oh by our LADY! everyone heard me say...oh no.... Random thought about that night. On June 13, a Friday of all things. She decided it was time to tell him how it was for her. She wanted to let him know she wanted more of a commitment. Randi had allowed herself to fall deeply in love with Brent, although she would never admit it to anyone, especially if Brent didn't feel the same way. Of course that was how it all got started...on the last night of his life. She decided as she was getting ready for this date to really wow him! She wanted his head to stay glued to her and only her. She had the dress made months before, planning with the seamstress in detail which curves and contours she wanted enhanced. The color definitely had to be red...Hot red! Brent would love that! He bought her a sexy piece of lingerie once of that shade, saying baby wear that for me, and I'm yours forever! She wore it once and only once. Brent tore it to shreds with his teeth taking it off her. That night was one of the dream nights a girl never forgets and stores up for long lonely nights. The kind of nights for special dreams. Radom never could understand how he could make love to her so passionately and beautifully one night and be with another woman the next. That always hurt her, though she pretended it didn't. She said it didn't really mean more than that...a little tryst between friends. That was only to keep him coming, for she knew if she pushed for more, she'd lose him completely. The little attention he gave in that area would be what she could definitely live with for the time being. He proved to be a valuable friend and powerful corporate lawyer. When Random first met Brent McKohl, it was at an office party strictly to Chief execs and their families. This party was for her Uncle. Aunt Silvy had introduced her to him.. Randi my dear, I hear you need a good lawyer love! She said then continued my dear, you are about to meet a genius at the corporate wheel! He stood there grinning, sharklike, smug, but very handsome! He stood tall above her, and she was 6 foot tall! Later she found he was 6'7" with his shoes off! His hair , was black as were his eyes, and he kept the hair about shoulder length, tied back in his business suites, but down on his bare muscular shoulders, at the most appropriate times...*sighs* She melted to the last day of his life at the sight of him and the sound of his voice. Randi was beautiful, she had a long slender build, with long muscular legs, asslength coppery hair, green eyes, curves everywhere..very feminine, and very regal. Having the elven features mixed with her Mother's Irish human features, made her a magical beauty. Her eyes had more a round shape rather than the large almond shape of an elven, but she did have the pointed chin and the canted ears. She liked that she had her mother's hair color rather than the silverish of the rest of the elven tribe. That greatly disappointed her father, who had already been upset she had not been a son! How very male of him! Randi felt she had never been loved by her father and adopted her Mother's maiden name as her own. Her parents were not to speak of a marriage being unacceptable, though human, elven marriages are embraced in this present, they were very frowned upon in their time. Megan McGuire was nearly the image of Random, without the elven features, Megan was also freckled very beautifully, something which attracted her father from the beginning. He asked her why she allowed the Sun God to kiss her skin before he'd had the chance, and that was one of the things that made her love him. Megan knew that this would be big trouble, but she couldn't keep him or his sense of humor from her heart. Random wished she'd known her father when he had laughed, now she seldom ever sees him smile. Now, Random wondered if her father had even heard what had happened to her and if it mattered at all to either of them. Random tried very hard to remember witnessing any kind of passion her parents may have had for one another, but couldn't. She was certain they must have, for she was just full of the stuff and knew it had to come from somewhere. Unless, it skips generations or something.. *sighing* Erin looked around the grey,dim interrogation room and began to scream inside. Desperate to wake from this horrible nightmare.
