Cyndi knew her job could be dangerous. Her family had told her that stripping would be the death of her. But no one would have known it would end like this. As she left the club, she felt a cold shiver race through her body. It was chilly out, but not enough to cause such a reaction. She took a quick look around, like she did every night when she left work, to assure she was alone. This time, however, she was not. From out of the darkness, a pair of eyes born of hell stared at her. Before she could even blink, the beast was on her. Picking her up by both arms, the beast, snarled in victory. His acidic breath stung her nostrils. "This invasion would be easy, these 'humans' would pose no threat", thought the War Chief. His followers would have fun smashing these pitiful creatures into the ground. He would take this meek one back with him, to show his minions what they were up against. And then they would feast upon her, flesh and blood, muscle and bone. The wizard had been right. This 'Earth' was ripe for the picking. Inside the strip club, Henry James thought he heard a women scream from outside but when the bouncer opened the door, the street was dark and quiet.
