This is beautiful.. I love how you see winter. It is like diamonds and pearls on things that are normally broken down are withered. Took a ride first big snow we got this year..and when you went down a tree lined country road it seemed as if you were going into a long beautiful cooridore of a winter castle. We complain alot about how cold it is.. and how it keeps us stuck in a lot.. but it's very beautiful and you show it with this piece.

Here the white contrasts with stark black trees. The houses are half hidden by snow though now naked where the foliage once covered them. This free verse style retains a more local psalmist. Can I venture a number 150 and a
118/119@22 or will 151 take us down the hill into apocrypha and orthodoxy?

This is wonderful, Susan. Few things are more beautiful than a new fallen snow, and it's one of my favorite things to see. You've described it beautifully here. You're right, this goes very well with my Winter Moonlight fractal...

A very lovely and creative vision of winter. Love how the snow makes old things appear new and magical. We don't see these kinds of images in sunny So. California, so it's wonderful to experience new fallen show through your poetic imagery. Wonderful work. Hope you post more. :o) CC

I love how you paint pictures with short phrases, tying them together to finish the whole work. This works very well. I don't live in a snowy place but I can remember and imagine. Thanks

Your words paint a beautiful picture in the mind and then I look outside my window and see your vision. Your poem is very touching, reminiscent of days of my youth, when snow was a joy to behold with no worries of driving in it and shoveling it off the walks. Thanks for the trip back!
