Description
Combined my works "Approaching Gateway" and "Valles Marineris". Used Adobe Photoshop to complete gateway and layer images. Inspired by novel "Hyperion" by Dan Simmons.

Read & reread the Hyperion series - and still think it's an awesome sci-fi work! Nice depiction in thought, tho the res factor is a bit low.

Good.Think it could be better with the Horizon line 1/3 lower and 1/3 more sky or by resizing:half water less.

Sorry, had to save using a setting of 8 to get it under the 500k limit. Munshine: of which horizon are you speaking?
