Nice modeling. The lighting could use some work. Some more cast shadows.

Thanks for your comments. But must say I'm just a Beginner. This was my first Rendering with 3Dmax. In fact I'll try to make it better.

Awesome 88, dude. Really nice work. Will you be making this available in Free Stuff? (Hint, hint). It would be a great addition to all us WW2 3D freaks' virtual Wermacht gear!

oh man, you did go the detail route..I did a simplified version of this in Wings, so I have a good idea of what you went through, great work. I think you've had some practice in other packages to get this right off the bat..;)

Nice rendering! I took out quite a few of these in the computer games Call of Duty and Secret Weapons over Normandy
Django
That is a great model

Yes, it was quiet a lot of work but I got the possibility to watch some blueprints and so I couldn't resist. By the the way, now I'm on the way to make a FAMO halftrack vehicle (Sd.Kfz 9). I hope to present it soon.

This is so detailed if you send me the modell, I could build my own flak in the backyard (for my neighbours). Just aplly some texture.

Save this scene, then re-do it 6 months later using raytrace reflections, Mental Ray or light tracer and it'll be superb.. nice one

Wow,this is a wonderfully complex and detailed model.I tried some modeling in lightwave so I know how difficult this must have been.Excellent modeling. Can't wait to see more of your work!Gets my vote.

Beautiful 88mm. I'm not sure if this was suggested, but you might want to use this later, and if you do, give it a highly weathered look, and paint it Olive Drab, or Camo. Either Works. Sweet stuff.
