As you walk down the street
Passing by every stranger you meet
Peering into their sadden eyes
You can't help but notice
theres no life inside
No smiles or friendly hello
Rushing through this
treadmill of life
having no where to really go
You catch their eye
as they pass you by
Reading the expressions
on their sad face
You can't help but
want to embrace
A friendly smile given
to brighten their day
helping them to see
their sadness can be eased
Its not always easy on
this journey called life
A smile, a nod, a wave
an encouraging word
Can change their sad
existance into giving life

Very nice . I try to do that every day working with the public like I do . It really makes a difference :)

There are very special people who everyone seems to love. It's not that they are self absorbed or born above the masses. They are the ones who care more about others than themselves. Is it destiny or is it developed. I don't know. Thanks for making me think... :-)
