Description

..she wasn't always old, despair carved into the lines of her face. Her hair wasn't always hacked short as a sign of her grief and mourning. I like to think the sun rose on some happy days in her tragic life. Background a composite of older 2D works, pastels and watercolors. Hey, terriffic theme and realization! Cynthia Ann Parker's life is really symbolic of many things and above all of how "appealing" white civilisation really was to natives and those others who got a taste of their culture. Great effort, maybe a lil cryptic for those who don't know the story yet ;)
