Description
Derek stands vigil outside the Vixen Temple, scanning the gloom for any sign of April.
Lucistra glares down at him from a balcony high above. With a heart inexplicably heavy, he retreats to the Temple. A quiet desperation overcomes him - already he has changed the patrol routes of his guards to grant April clear passage the next time she returns, but there is little he can do about Lucistra's tireless gaze.
"When she comes, I'll do everything I can to keep her safe," he mutters to himself. "All I can do now is wait."
The hours turn into days.
The days turn into weeks.
And still April does not come.

Excellent camera angle. Really adds to the drama and Lucistra in the background is perfect. Cool artwork!!!

Thanks for your comment. I'd just like to point out that Lucistra is not visible in this render. The "girl" above Derek's head is actually a statue fixed to the front of the temple. Kinda hard to see in all that dark... :)

Interesting POV, it catches Dereks expression very well. I really like your story line, there's some undercurrents that are intriguing. Excellent work.
