Description
"Who is the winner?"
First photo of the series "Destruction of the War"
The winners aren't those who die, aren't those who kill. Who wins really?
6.000 persons died in this village.
With this photo today I start a new little series, the challenge is twelve photos about the destruction of the wars.
Thanks to the people who commented on my last image "the ways of the life"

I LOVE THAT LENSE MAN. I NEED TO BUY IT. WHERE DO YOU LIVE TO GET THOSE PICS?
Masema
You're right, nobody wins in war...A desolate place left behind because of it...I feel their pain. Excellent shot for what I'm sure will be a thought provoking series.
Dave5153
the lens distortion really makes this piece. I agree with Masema very thought provoking.. Best Wishes DaveB

AWSOME SHOT!!! I cant get over the effect and feeling you get from the distortion of the lens. From the movie WAR GAMES "In this game, the best move......Is not to play"

The only winner is you, the photographer, who in his distorted lens-eye created beauty from this war scene. Love the colors and composition and of course the distortion.

So powerful. Where is it, and what is the story?

There are no winners in a war, everyone looses. When peace is not given a chance, war takes place. What can be achieved through harmony can never be achied through war. War symbolises Death and Destruction. What gives ground to war?? NATIONS.........If we lived in a No Nation , One globe..... war would become history. Till such time atleast we can learn to co exist. Being part of a war torn region I can understand this image. It has been captured very nicely with nice spiral effect. The cloud in the sky adds to the gloom on the ground. Excellent work Enax, look forward to your whole series. Thanks.!!!:O))

yes, the photographer is the winner here with this superb distorted view... it's a shame this was caused by war but what a beautiful scene & the sky gives it such an ominous feel... as if this town's wrath is waiting for it's justice... sounds like it will be a very powerful series , you are off to an awesome start with this one my friend :]

Today in mine city a holiday - having dug blockade. You likely heard about 900 days of Leningrad... War, is similar furious animal. It devours all on the way.... In War is not present won, is only losed... Let's keep the world in piece! L&P, Alrisha

beautiful. The distortion of the fish-eye adds to the confusion left after the tragedy of war.

Yeah those fish-eyes rock! I need to save up! Awesome image. I look foreward to the rest of your series!

The fish-eye effect really adds to the mood of this picture.. I love the reralism and mood this shows, though the subject is harsh. It's a hard job criting a shot you like of a thing you hate.

Excellent use of the lens, Francesc, giving the appearance of the buildings and the landscape trying to overpower each other. The stark desolation, reflects perfectly the true outcome of war..there is no winner. Great piece of art, my dear artistic friend:)

Really powerful image you have shot here, and I do so look forward to this series. We often become blind to what war leaves behind or maybe just numb. Thank you for sharing such an amazing eye-opening image!!!
