Description

This is a pic that I set-up a while ago and only just got round to rendering. It's a cityscape image from a slightly tweaked d3dadd's PBnC - colour modifications on the 'buildings' Inspired by reading Stewart Hyde is working on a cities plug-in for MJW :D Post-worked with Photoshop and KPT Equaliser TFV&C

Looks awesome. I was also rendering the same planet with very different results. A sign that there is in fact space in Mojoworld to express oneself creatively.

Wicked! Abandoned cities work pretty well then. :) Think of all the streetlights and building lights in a living city it gives you some idea of the complexity involved in creating a cities plugin. Hats off to Stewart for contemplating such an endeavour! ;)

Nice picture: FYI I am planning to another planet first to research proper placement of materials on terrain area for buildings. Also according to some discussions.. I may need 2.1 to make this successfull because of 2d/3d issue I am having with the plugin. Now lights in cities would be really interesting - especially the fact that buildings are not displacements but part of terrain - which means they could be theoritically seen underwater.
