Description

I guess I'm in a creative mood these days. My third image in less than a week! :) I like it! This scene became a monsther in the end! It's filled with detailed Xfrog-trees and has got over 31 lights. The rendertime was 23 hours and is my new personal record! It's a little bit inspired by Sorsele (which can be found in my gallery) I really liked the concept so I decided to try and make a new picture with it. This one has got a little more realistic feel to it, and is using more complex models. Greenwork just updated they're "Conifers Library", and it's absolutely fantastic! Looks great Thomas! 23 HOURS!? SAkes! Maybe it's time for some conifer alphas eh? but then there is lighting to consider. .Wow! That's a long render, and with the creative flow happening this week, you had to keep slapping your hands because of the urge to get on the computer again. Poor guy! Well great job, looks like you managed through the long wait without a slip. ;)

Textures are superb as is the lighting. I really like ther way the house overlooks an imagined view as there is no distant background. Excellent!

Well done Thomas, techically a fantastic bit of work. I like the smoke coming out of the chimney. It gives the cottage a lived in look.
