Description

I guess I'm in a creative mood these days. My third image in less than a week! :) I like it! This scene became a monsther in the end! It's filled with detailed Xfrog-trees and has got over 31 lights. The rendertime was 23 hours and is my new personal record! It's a little bit inspired by Sorsele (which can be found in my gallery) I really liked the concept so I decided to try and make a new picture with it. This one has got a little more realistic feel to it, and is using more complex models. Greenwork just updated they're "Conifers Library", and it's absolutely fantastic! Great vegetation here, but I like above all the hut model and how you have made its texturing. Beautiful lighting also. Bravo!

I can almost hear the gentle breeze rustling through the trees, smell the lush evergreens and the scent of a good log fire. The textural richness of your images is more than a visual treat, it is almost tactile. Beautiful work, my friend.

23 hours rendertime? LOL I tried to make a forest image with your conifer (36 trees) and after 71 hours anti - aliasing was at 13 %. I ended this with a deep sigh. In spite of the "short" rendertime this is a really beautiful image - like it a lot!
