Description

a bit of background info on this i first started working on this on May 29, 2003. Here is where it all started: http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=411412&Start=19&Artist=RaysOfLight&ByArtist=Yes after having finished my image for this month's lightwave contest, i still had a hunger for 3D, so i picked this up again. made a few fixes to it, such as making the desk on the right be properly sized (it was half a meter high before heheh) and i've added another lamp on the desk, with 19 bones to it so it can bend and twist like my own desk lamp :) here is an image where you can really tell how much difference radiosity makes, at least in render times. radiosity render: 1 hour, no radiosity: 1 minute heheh no antialiasing for either of those the only thing i don't understand is why radiosity makes it look so grainy. oh well i love it :) i'll hopefully have more updates day by day :) lemme know what you think :)

Personally, I think the "grain" adds texture. :)
Well done :) I pointed out everything I loved yesterday (which was everything :)
Congrats and keep up the good work sweetie! :)

very good!! :)you see that every render looks better than the previous? this means that your skills are growing!! keep working!!try using an image map for the bed texture it should improve a bit..and if you find that the grainy of radiosity is too high you can use the "shading noise reduction" filter (I use it a lot)!

This is an excellent render bud! And as for the grain, well that adds that extra bit of magic! The only point I can make is the reflective tiled floor, it look a bit out of place for a female's bedroom. Apart from that, I think this has been one of your finest pieces of work. Well done!

Tremendous amount of improvement! Your LW skills are just jumping by leaps and bounds! Although your interior design skills need help... hehehehe... :oP Just teasing. This really does look like a wonderful render! :o)
