Description


Here we see the ice that has formed in front of the spillway of a amall artificial pond. For about 3 weeks, we have had temperatures between -10F and +20F ... resulting in some unusual ice formations. Nikon Coolpix 4300, handheld, available light, automatic exposure. Crop in Photoshop 7.0. I appreciate each and every comment that is made -- progress depends on criticism as well as praise.

Toward the bottom left of the pic is that weird texture you get when melting ice and water merge. I love that. The sort of stuff that only occurs in Nature, a CGI persons challenge! Good work!
