Description

Here we see ice that has formed in front of the spillway of a small man made pond. From this POV, I can imagine the shapes of the frozen water to be like predators near a tropical water hole ... crouching, waiting. For about 3 weeks, we have had temperatures between -10F and +20F ... resulting in some unusual ice formations. Nikon Coolpix 4300, handheld, available light, automatic exposure. Crop in Photoshop 7.0. This was shot in clor ... there just wasn't much color to see that day. This is the same location as my "Jaws of Ice" image. I appreciate each and every comment that is made -- progress depends on criticism as well as praise.
