Transient Special The so called Cybergetic industry started up after the human race decided that the science of genetic engineering and manipulation was too profitable to keep behind ethical regulations. With the United States government leading the way, and soon afterwards the rest of the world, the Cybergetic industry took off. A combination of cybernetic grafting and re-encoding genes a person could alter any aspect of the physical appearance, controlling weight, height and even sex. After a few years even more radical changes were available from fur to gills, tails to spikes. However, after several years of epic growth, the initial buzz for these radical changes soon died away and Cybergetic industry remained a product for self-improvement. However, the radical changes continued to thrive in the pop culture and underground elements of society. The music club scene relished originality and many of the famous underground DJs sported some kind of alteration to boost their popularity.
