Years ago, I made an animation similar to this, with the moon. No post except for sig.

AHHAH! My theory was right! The sun does settle in the ocean, and every night it gets recharged by electric eels from the deep recesses of the sea. The continual shock expunges the ball into a firey mass creating beautiful orange sunrises!
