Description

a few huge changes in the room since the last time i posted an update in my gallery. these are the things changed: 1. completely re-made the bed 2. gave the window a couple beams to make it look more like a window 3. changed the textures on the wall and floor frame in an effort to achieve some agreement between the many colours of the scene 4. added a desk chair (thanks for pointing that out CdGGambit!) 5. gave it a bit of volumetric light to add a bit more atmosphere --------- the thing that REALLY needs fixing now, is the texturing on the chair. even though the legs are black, they still need a lot more specularity than i gave them the seat and back rest of the chair also need a bit more flavor, probably in the form of a bump map also, the volumetric light of the bedside table lamp is too strong i think, it needs to be toned down a bit. --------- things to do: 1. add a rack or bookshelves on the left wall 2. make some books to put on the bookshelves. 3. maybe make a laptop to put on the desk 4. maybe some power outlets? 5. a lamp for the ceiling light. (i really need help with that one. what kind of a lamp would go with a room like this??) 6. don't know... but maybe you do!

I see what you mean abuot the chair legs, but they still look good. The window panes really help achive a "windowness" and not a "mirrorness" :) I like the volumetric lighting coming through the window. The ebd looks really good. I love the cut out you have in the head board. But what's with th elightes being on, on such a sunny day? Talk about wasting electricity. :)

Over this past month, your skills have really excelled, keep up the good work. I think you should have a poster of "Beavis and Butt" head on the wall. lol Keep it up RaysOfLight! :)
