Description
After seeing all the imagery from the new Mars rovers I felt compelled to make my own Martian landscape. Of course, then I needed something to happen in it, and I had this old Mars Probe model lying around, and it grew from there. Whadddya think?

Neat work Kenny! The Corona effect on the craft is a nice touch. So it looks like someone has beaten these guys to this location on Mars. Well I will see you there in 32 years for the Renderosity Reunion. lol

The Astronaut mesh is by 'Ivor the Engine' and is from the resources section of the Lightwave Group at www.lwg3d.org along with the rest of Ivors great NASA meshes. There's even a high detailed head for inside it, if you're so inclined.

Good to see you posting yer stuff up here, matey!!! :o) Been a really long time! :o) There's a great tutorial on Martian Landscapes I stumbled across over at 3DC in the Forums there. Might add a bit more to this one.
