Description

My own hellcat modeled in Rhino. Essex aircraft carrior is from Sky Pilot's download page located here http://members.aol.com/infxual/pprops1.html The rear wakes are terrains painted in photopaint and the bow wave was made in Rhino. I love this carrier model. My dad served on the Essex in the Korean war when he was just out of high school. They carried F4U Corsairs and AD1 Skyraiders.

excellent modeling and composition, I like the "parting" clouds effect, and the trailing water looks great--as far as the hellcat model, excellent. Only wish more people would comment.

Models are maybe too plastic, and yes, at first deck was made of wood, but still amazing work. ...try to make your signature smaller.

Love that Hellcat! Glad to see you getting some use out of my carrier. Cool that your dad served on her. BTW, the decks were wooden, but were part of the camouflage scheme. A 900 ft. piece of wood was just too easy to spot :) I need to make a full camo tex for that. BeyondVR (Sky Pilot)
