The pearl white skin and eyes and the spider silk white hair of the woman might have identified her by itself, but the skimpy, bone motif outfit, blazing red hourglass marking on her chest, and flowing mass of black vapors that hung from her shoulders made her identity unmistakable. Damien lowered his sword only slightly as members of both SGL1 and SGL2 burst through into the courtyard, weapons drawn and spells already dancing on their fingertips.

"Lilly. My father speaks of you from time to time. I understand you had some dealings with the Midnight Rose before I joined. What do you want here?"

The buxom vampire smiled an entirely too predatory smile and Damien had to motion to the new Legacy members to hold their fire.

"I've brought you a candidate, or should I say, I've brought information about him. Judge him on his own merits, and not by his accidental relationship to me. Let's just say I have one last debt to pay before I move on, and this is it. And don't be so foolish to refuse me."

"Why? Who is this person?"

"He's my,... brother."

Thus did SGL2 gain its first male member, the younger brother of the infamous Lilly Death, Scylen Sylverwynd. Unlike his sister, he had grown up in Delsia, leaving only after hearing of his sister's apparent death at Vorhingaard and mysterious resurrection and association with the Necromancer, Cameron Quinn. He had come to investigate the rumors, to do what he could to save her, but twenty years too late. When Damien caught up with him, he was being held in Carellon, the capitol city, after an incident involving Lilly and a formal reception for the Queen several days earlier. His release from a charge of plotting to assassinate Queen Amanda was contingent on his service to The Legacy. His calculating mind, vast knowledge from years in High Elven academies, and substantial magical potential were sufficient for Damien to give him a chance. But despite his promise and the obvious light in his own soul, the dark forces working around him to get at his sister would be one of SGL2's greatest challenges.
