Description

"When I was a child, I spoke like a child, and thought as a child. But now that I am grown, I have put away childish things." This is about the death of innocence and the loss of the freedom of youth. Everyone hates growing up at one time or another. Completed in Photoshop, 15 hours.

Awwww poor teddy! No, seriously you have created quite a powerful image. The palette is perfect as are her face and the background. Great piece.

Very different for you in my opinion, which is a good thing as well. Kind of reminds me a little of the game Alice where Alice has kind of went off the deep end. Very symbolic in the death of innocence, wonderful work! ++

Great job on the background! And I like how pensive and sad you've got her expression. I think her arm could be a bit longer, but that's the only nit-pickety thing I can see. Well done!

This is awesome. A definite departure from your usual themes, and an excellent piece. The bleak, desaturated background, the wind in her hair, the overall darkness ... very atmospheric, really provokes emotions. Her face distantly resembles someone, and I've been trying to figure it out all day ... and it just came to me. Geena Davis. Do you see it too?
