Description

The original "Halsey" for which the series of Terran Republic Fleet Carrieris named, is pictured being escorted by the "Hand of God" to her retirement ceremony as she turns 100 years old. This vid also provides a scale comparison between the two warships. Background in Universe. Both ships by me. Thx for viewing.

Background is georgious. Modeling is supurb - as always. This is the sort of art that makes one wonder what mankinds future holds. Within my own lifetime - the first flying machine I was ever in was a ford tri-motor. In my youth the commercial airliner of the day was the C47 - or DC3. Spend a moment in contemplation of where humankind will go ... and wonder if craft like these are so fictious after all. now that the american president has declared space is for the military; and the spirit of mankind is always striving onward. :-). Thank you for another fun posting. :-D

Its very good, i like the Background, and i like the top Ship, but the bottom Ship is again like a Base-Ship for military Aeroplanes :-( I have seen better SPACE-Ships from you in one of the last Renderings

A nice size comparison image. It might be an interesting exercise to do a variant with another landing deck mounted on the bottom. A second command tower could protrude underneath too. The resulting design could launch and retrieve twice as many craft and have a backup contol center as well. Just a thought from a guy who sometimes thinks way too much about this stuff. ;-) Keep up the great work!

Nice idea, but everything seems a little too centered and straight forward. You might want to try off-setting things and angling things in the future for a more dynamic look
