Description


The seaplane base in the local estuarty. In the '80s, during the peak of the coastal logging industry, Campbell River was the busiest float plane base in the world. Less flying now, but still a bustling scene. Thanks for looking, comments welcome.

This is typically what i'd expect this area to look like (sadly, i've never been there). Thanks for showing my i wasn't totally wrong ;). Is there any way to mount a polarizing filter on your cam? Could intensify the colours a lot with weather like that :) Wonderful image Jim .. just have to love that place!

Nice crisp clear shot Jim! Love the stillness of the water and the reflections! Those mountains in the bg don't detract any from it either! So beautiful there, your images make me want to come there to do a shoot! Maybe one day?
