I found Renderosity late on in 2003 and have since become an avid viewer of the tremendous talent on display. My contribution is just pictures I've drawn, daft sketches, favorite photos (mostly of landscapes and mountain days out) and comments and laughs with other members. Thanks to all at Renderosity and to people who contribute some amazing images and ideas.

I doubt is was glacial, there were three volcanos in the region which let off at different times causing strata of different hardness. In general the Tuffa is soft and crumbly and erodes very easily, but is also ideal for building houses in.

Great Shot! Must be a wonderful place. The title reminds me that 'Old Man of the Mountain' (in Vermont?) is no more. Photography is so much more than an art form. Our collective memories are logged in them.
