Description
This is a thermograph + Low Light Overlay version of the scene. Such overlays are used whenever possible, to get better image quality, slight textures and shadows. Pure thermographic pictures are mostly only used to find thermic leaks and air streams. Next picture I will post will be the infrared + low light overlay without thermographic coloring and stronger infrared amplification.

HeHe, poor guy.. I guess it would be interessting to see what happens next:)
ShellShock
Kickass picture! Why didnt the guy behind that guard show up on the previous pictures?
VOID
Because she is wearing an optical cammouflage suit. Sort of nanotechnological-psionic cammo system. One of the reasons this went into the science-fiction section. ;P

Always great to have better than natural/artificial light and normal vision. There is an IR suppressing suit available for some years even now ... though I understand it's hot to wear. "kickass picture" about says it all.

No, look out T.logeman! cool pic VOID, as always. I finaly got around to watching ghost in the shell, (or whatever). poor T., never saw it coming...
Daz1971
Very cool! Nice twist with the pistol-packin dude in the bottom right, who I don't think was in the previous versions. Excellent work!
aragon28
Hm,...the guy has also a suit for his gun?
judderman

Cigarettes dont light up that much in thermographic imaging. They are not really as hot as some people might think. They are pretty bright in darkness on ordinary infrared, but compaired to the thermic aura of a human, they are not that spectacular. Thanks for your comment judd, and good to see that you are still around, alive and kicking. :D
Moebius87
Superb image! Reminds me of the suit that Major Motoko Kusanagi wears. :o)
Lifebane
But Shosa Kusanagi wears thermooptic cammouflage. Looks like this cammouflage here is only optical. Excellent effect however! :D
Schokohase
Yes, indeed, nice work. And yes too, it's unspectacular, but nice to imagine the function of thermographic vision!
SluggyFreelance
