Description

The Amish are a common site where I live in TN. I had a friend to visit me a few months ago from Oregon and she could not believe what she was seeing. She had never seen anything like the Amish before. If you haven't ever seen them, they believe in old ways, no cars, no electricity (that means no fridge, lights, microwave, t.v, cell phones, or video games :o

wonderful oldtimey feel, a much simpler way of life, hard for us to imagine but it's the way of our ancestors, hardworking, clean living... i have much respect for them but no way could i live it, look foward to seeing more of these shots :]

They should be respected for choosing to live this way, it certainly couldn't be easy. And this is a wonderful shot.... look forward to seeing more if you're willing to share them. :~)
