Description

This is Claire; she is the sister of the little Amish boy that I posted yesterday. As you can see, she doesn't wear any shoes either and no matter what type of the year, they always wear those long hot dresses and little white bonnets. You can see a few boxes, buckets and vegetables around her which is not uncommon to see. I wished I could get a better picture of them, but they are not crazy about my camera and will only tolerate it for so long. :) Still, I hope you enjoy the picture; believe it or not, it took a LOT of work just to get this one. Hope you like it :)
Thanks for looking at my work! -Shannon

Thank you for sharing. Huge cabbage made me hungry. :-) What is their objection to cameras?

What a perfect "slice of life" you've captured. Great composition, color and fascinating subject.

You know I really don't know why they don't like cameras, other than it's another piece of technology and that's something they don't agree with. Normally though, they will bust their butts trying to get away from it, some will allow you to take it if they know you really good which is the case with my subjects. But they do make for an interesting picture and thanks for the comments and ratings :o) They are always appreciated!
